Got your Groupon?

Group + Coupon = Groupon.

Groupon is dedicated to bringing a business and a group of people together in order to get a good deal, and attract attention to a cool local buisness.

65 US and Canadian cities are currently represented, with plans for more. If you don't see your city, go tell Groupon to get on it! Also, many of the larger cities recognize neighborhoods and suburbs. I often get alerts for 2 Groupons per day because I've signed up for my local major city and specified my neighborhood. Twice the love!

Here's how it works, a restaurant is offering $50 gift certificates through Groupon for $25. If a certain number of people sign up for this deal, the deal is on. If not enough people sign up, the deal is off and those original people get their money back.

Want to see some recent deals for the Chicago area? Yes? Click here.

Each morning the new deal is e-mailed to you. The deal runs for 24 hours, and is redeemable starting the next day, usually good for about 6 months.

Just today, I bought into a Groupon for $50 worth of delivered (!!!) organic fruits and veggies for only $25! So super excited! And I'm just going to wait until my favorite local fruits and veggies are in season to order my boxes!

Not all deals are food related. Cleaning services, sky diving, nail salons, tanning, circus school, carriage rides, etc have all been advertised.

Want to join? Yes, you do! Click here! (And then let me know what you bought!)

Check out the below 2 minute video. (Ignore the Christmas music and city count--it's now at 65!)
